Last updated: 01 November 2026

Overview

Welcome to Vero Bello.

The Services are operated by Vero Bello, Keizersgracht 391 A, 1016 EJ Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The terms "Vero Bello", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Vero Bello.

Vero Bello operates two websites and the digital services made available through them (collectively, the "Services"):

These terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (collectively, these "Terms of Service" or "Terms"), describe your rights and responsibilities when you access or use the Services.

These Terms are arranged in three parts. Part A applies to all of the Services. Part B applies to purchases made through the Store. Part C applies to the Prayer Card Service. Where a provision of Part B or Part C conflicts with Part A, the more specific provision applies to the Service concerned.

Please read these Terms carefully. They contain important information concerning your legal rights and obligations, including warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability and restrictions concerning the use of content made available through the Services.

By visiting, accessing, interacting with or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use the Services.

Part A — Terms for All Services

Section 1 — Access

You may access the Services without creating an account. Certain features or materials may require a transaction, a link issued to you, or other authorization.

Where required by applicable law, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or otherwise legally permitted to use the Services.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when requested and to keep such information reasonably up to date.

Where the Store offers a customer account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. You may not sell, transfer, sublicense or otherwise assign an account or authentication credential without our prior written permission.

Section 2 — Our Products and Services

We aim to describe and present products, prayer cards, images and other offerings accurately. However, colors, appearance, scale and other characteristics may vary depending on your device, display, settings, production methods or other circumstances.

Descriptions, availability, presentation and functionality may change without notice.

We do not guarantee that any particular product, service, prayer card, devotional material or feature will remain available indefinitely.

Section 3 — Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Services and their design, arrangement, compilation, interfaces, original text, graphics, logos, trademarks, software and other original materials are owned by, licensed to, or otherwise lawfully used by Vero Bello and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws.

Photographs, artworks, illustrations, writing, translations and other third-party materials appearing through the Services may remain the property of their respective artists, photographers, authors, translators, publishers, museums, estates, licensors or other rights holders and may be reproduced or presented by permission or as otherwise permitted by law.

Public-domain works. Many of the paintings, engravings, scriptural texts and prayers presented through the Services are in the public domain. We do not claim ownership of public-domain works themselves. These Terms restrict only the use of materials that are protected, including our original selection, arrangement, design, photography, image preparation, typography and software, and protected third-party materials.

The display or availability of material through the Services does not grant you ownership of or any license to that material except for the limited right to access and view it for its intended purpose, and except for the personal-use permissions set out in Section C3.

Except as set out in Section C3, or where expressly authorized in writing by Vero Bello or the applicable rights holder, you may not reproduce, copy, download, capture, modify, publish, republish, upload, distribute, transmit, display, sell, license, create derivative works from, commercially exploit or otherwise use protected content made available through the Services.

You may not systematically scrape, crawl, harvest, extract, index, archive or collect content or data from the Services by automated or manual means for purposes beyond ordinary personal use without our prior written authorization.

You may not use content obtained from the Services to develop, train, fine-tune, test, benchmark or improve an artificial-intelligence, machine-learning, computer-vision, generative or similar computational system without the prior written authorization of Vero Bello and, where applicable, the relevant rights holder.

No copyright notice, attribution, credit line, source citation, watermark, rights-management information or other notice associated with content may be removed, obscured, modified or falsified.

Section 4 — Attribution and Sources

We credit the sources of the materials we present.

Section 5 — Access and Security

You may not circumvent, disable, interfere with or attempt to defeat any access control, security feature, usage restriction or other technical measure used to protect the Services or content made available through them.

You may not obtain or attempt to obtain non-public content, data or other resources that have not intentionally been made available to you, including by guessing, altering or enumerating the codes contained in card links.

You may not use automated systems, scripts, bots or similar methods to interfere with, probe, abuse or exploit the Services or their infrastructure without our prior written authorization.

Section 6 — Optional Tools and Third-Party Services

We may provide access to tools, platforms or services operated by third parties, including Apple Wallet and the payment methods offered at checkout.

Third-party services may be provided subject to their own terms, privacy policies and practices.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for third-party services that we do not own or control.

Section 7 — Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications or content.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices or content of third-party services.

Section 8 — Relationship with Platform Providers

Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchases and other transactions with Vero Bello are between you and Vero Bello.

Third-party ecommerce, hosting, payment, production, shipping, communications, wallet or technology providers facilitate portions of the Services but are not responsible for Vero Bello's products, prayer cards or obligations except as separately provided under their own terms. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the prayer cards or their content.

Section 9 — Privacy

Our collection and processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Section 10 — Feedback and Submissions

If you voluntarily provide comments, suggestions, ideas or feedback about the Services, you grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, except where prohibited by applicable law.

If you send us a prayer intention or other personal message, we will treat it as private correspondence. We will not publish it, and the preceding paragraph does not apply to it.

Section 11 — Errors and Corrections

Information made available through the Services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including in prices, product descriptions, liturgical dates and the texts of prayers and readings.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information or cancel affected transactions where permitted by applicable law.

Section 12 — Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services:

Section 13 — Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to some or all of the Services, including by withdrawing a prayer card or ending its updates, where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, enforce these Terms, respond to fraud or abuse, comply with law, protect intellectual property or address security concerns.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property restrictions, disclaimers, limitations of liability and indemnification, will survive termination.

Section 14 — Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and materials made available through them are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure or free of harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer in relation to goods you purchase.

Section 15 — Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vero Bello and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, contractors and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Section 16 — Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vero Bello and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses and reasonable costs arising from your material violation of these Terms, unlawful use of the Services or infringement of another person's rights.

Section 17 — Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Section 18 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services will be governed by applicable law.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having lawful authority over the dispute, subject to applicable consumer-protection law.

Section 19 — Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with policies and terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Vero Bello concerning your use of the Services, except where a separate written agreement applies to a particular transaction, license, collaboration or other relationship.

Section 20 — Assignment

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, transfer of assets or similar transaction, or as otherwise permitted by law.

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent where such restriction is permitted by applicable law.

Section 21 — No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

Section 22 — Headings

Section headings are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.

Section 23 — Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, applicable law or other circumstances.

Where appropriate, we may update the version or effective date associated with these Terms and provide additional notice where required by law.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. An order is governed by the Terms in effect when the order was placed.

Part B — Purchases through the Store

Section B1 — Orders

An order constitutes an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline an order at our discretion, subject to applicable law.

An order is not final until it has been accepted and confirmed.

Payment must be successfully processed before an order is considered accepted unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Section B2 — Printed to Order

Products are printed to order after your order is accepted, in the garment, size, print color and other options you select. Production times and estimated delivery dates are shown beside each shipping option at checkout.

Section B3 — Pricing and Billing

Prices may change without notice.

Prices are shown and charged in US dollars. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rates or fees.

Some prices may be offered only during a visit that begins from a link on a Vero Bello prayer card, and only for as long as that visit lasts. Such prices are shown on the product, in the bag and at checkout before you pay. The price that applies to your order is the price shown at checkout when you place it.

Prices include applicable taxes, customs duties and import charges; you will not be asked to pay these on delivery. Any shipping charge is shown at checkout before you pay.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment, billing and contact information and authorize the applicable charges associated with your transaction.

Section B4 — Shipping and Delivery

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, weather, force majeure events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Risk of loss may transfer as provided by applicable law and the terms applicable to the relevant transaction.

Part C — The Prayer Card Service

Section C1 — What the Prayer Card Service Is

The Prayer Card Service lets you add prayer cards to Apple Wallet on a compatible iPhone, open prayer pages and daily readings from a card, set an optional daily reminder, and share cards with others. A card may change from day to day: when you add it, the card registers with our servers so that we can send its updates to your device.

The prayer cards are offered free of charge at present. Nothing in these Terms obliges us to continue offering any card free of charge. We may in the future offer paid cards, editions or features, which will be described, priced and made subject to their own terms before you acquire them, and which will not change the terms of a card you already hold without notice where notice is required by law.

No account, name or email address is needed to use a card. This does not mean that the use of a card leaves no record; what we record is described in our Privacy Policy.

Section C2 — Requirements and Availability

The cards require Apple Wallet and a compatible device and operating system. Some features, such as updates and reminders, depend on Apple's services and on your device's connection and settings, and may not work on every device or at every moment. We do not guarantee that an update or reminder will arrive at a particular time.

We may change the content, design, schedule or presentation of a card, pause or end its updates, or retire a card, including at the end of a devotion or season. A card that is no longer updated may remain in your Wallet in its last state until you remove it.

Section C3 — What You May Do with the Cards and Prayers

Subject to these Terms, you may, for your personal, non-commercial and devotional use:

These permissions do not allow you to sell or charge for the cards or prayer pages, to republish them on another website, application or service, to reproduce our images, designs or card artwork outside the Services, to remove or alter credits and source citations, or to use the materials for any purpose described in the last three paragraphs of Section 3. Public-domain texts and works may of course be used as the law allows; this paragraph applies to our protected materials and to protected third-party materials.

Section C4 — Your Card Links

Some links on the back of a card, such as the links to its daily prayer page and its settings, are particular to your card. Anyone who has such a link may be able to open the pages it leads to and change the card's settings. Please share a card only by using its share link or invitation, and not by forwarding the links that are particular to your card.

A share link opens an invitation from which the recipient may add a card of their own. We may count how often a share link is used, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Section C5 — Devotional Content

The prayers, readings and devotional materials are offered for personal devotion. They are not a substitute for the guidance of a priest, the teaching of the Church or professional advice of any kind. Vero Bello is not affiliated with, and is not endorsed by, any diocese, parish, religious order or other ecclesiastical authority unless we expressly state otherwise.

Section C6 — From a Card to the Store

A card may include a link to the Store. When you follow it, the Store is told, through a single-use link that expires after ten minutes, which card the visit came from, as described in our Privacy Policy. Purchases made during that visit are governed by Part B.
